Artists
John Waller is an Australian artist and educator whose paintings are drawn from landscapes he has an emotional empathy with. Born in Mildura and raised in the Mallee, he works in landscape-based abstraction. Waller is visibly concerned with the craft of painting. He trowels, scrapes and smears pigment into evocative textures. His use of colour and the layers of images allows you see glimpses of other landscapes, figures and objects.
Cat Poljski is a Melbourne-based Australian artist and printmaker whose work explores the built environment — the way cities are constructed, layered and reimagined through print. Combining images of buildings from cities she has lived in and visited, including Melbourne, New York, Beijing, London and Munich, she creates imagined urban landscapes that move between the real and the constructed.
Clare Bell

Always observing her surroundings, Clare develops a series of paintings that are inspired by what is taking place, from a change in season or political events to broken shells strewn across the sand. These intricate images express internal and external realities, revealing how deeply one affects the other.
